Stateless Tools

Summary

  • The site is free and requires no account. There is no sign-up and no payment.
  • Most conversions and calculations happen inside your browser; your input is not sent to a server. The one exception is IP / User-Agent, which is marked on that page.
  • Results are provided without warranty of accuracy. Verify independently before relying on them for work, legal or financial decisions.
  • The site may change or be discontinued without notice.

Conditions of use

Who can use it?

Anyone, free of charge, without an account. Personal and commercial use are treated the same, and there is no restriction on using the output commercially.

What is not allowed?

Do not place a burden on the service through automated bulk requests, do not clone the site and present it as your own on another domain, and do not use the tools to infringe others' rights or break the law. The tools are code running in your browser, but what you do with the results is your responsibility.

Can I paste work data?

Technically yes, since input does not leave your browser. However, your organisation's policy may forbid pasting internal data into external websites, and browser extensions can read page contents. For sensitive values, check your policy and browser environment first.

Responsibility for results

The tools are provided "as is". What follows is not boilerplate but a list of real limits.

Calculations and conversions

Results such as hashes, encodings and date arithmetic can vary with browser and library versions. Business-day calculations, for example, exclude weekends only and ignore public holidays; limits like this are stated on each tool page.

Security use

The password generator uses the browser's cryptographic random source, but how you store and handle the generated value is up to you. This site cannot vouch for the security of your actual authentication system.

Liability

No liability is accepted for direct or indirect loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the tools. Verify results by another means before making decisions that matter.

Intellectual property and changes

Who owns the code and the writing?

The source code, documentation and design belong to the operator. Whatever you type into a tool, and whatever it produces, belongs to you; this site claims no rights over it and does not retain it, since it never reaches a server.

What about third-party libraries?

Features such as PDF, OCR and QR use public open-source libraries under their respective licences. The display typeface is Wanted Sans, distributed under the SIL Open Font License.

Will I be notified of changes?

This page is updated when the terms change. Because no account information is collected there is no way to notify you individually, so please check here for material changes. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

How do I get in touch?

Use the routes on the contact page for bug reports and questions. Data handling is covered separately in the privacy notice.
